Works for Java and Bedrock

Skins are standard 64x64 PNG files. In Java, open the Minecraft Launcher, choose Skins, then upload the PNG. In Bedrock, open the character creator and import a new skin.

How to make a Minecraft skin in 4 steps

  1. Start from a template or a blank skin. Try Pumpkin King, Neon Ninja or Sky Knight, or start fresh.
  2. Paint on the 3D character. Use the front and back views, or paint right on the model.
  3. Add the details. Stickers, patterns, gradients and text make a skin look finished.
  4. Download the PNG and use it. Upload it in the Minecraft Launcher or the Bedrock character creator.

Is the Minecraft skin maker free?

The 3D preview, pen, eraser, fill, color picker and a few templates are free with no account. Saving and downloading need the one-time Minecraft Studio pass.

What size is a Minecraft skin?

A skin is a 64x64 pixel PNG image. The old 64x32 format also imports. Blockfitlab always gives you the modern 64x64 layout.

Does it work on Java and Bedrock?

Yes. Both use the same PNG skin file. Java uploads it in the Minecraft Launcher, and Bedrock imports it in the character creator.

Can I make a skin of a famous character?

Original designs are best. Please do not copy trademarked characters or logos. Blockfitlab is independent and not approved by Mojang or Microsoft.
